How you always keep yourself motivated/positive.

Hi guys,
Fresh day Fresh morning, Hope you all are doing well.
I was asked how I always keep myself positive & motivated. I thought why not I answer this here.

I believe , while you can't always control what happens to you, you can control how you respond to it.
We always have 2 choices , every situation always have 2 sides of it like every coin has its 2 sides. It's us who decide what we choose to see. Whenever something good happens with me , I am overwhelmed & I thank god & universe for the blessings. On the other hand, when something goes wrong , rather than complaining I choose to understand why it happened & what is it tryna teach me. After a certain while, I understand that whatever happens happens for a reason.
I have trained my mind to see the good in everything & so I stay positive & motivated all the time.
It's not that I don't get negative thoughts or I feel demotivated, I do. But than I don't let it last for long.
I try getting back to my positive thoughts as soon as I can.
Now, how do I manage to train my mind / control my thought ?
This happened with a lot of practice. There was a time in my life where things were not as great but I had an option to cry in that situation or rather find for a solution & I chose to find the solution. That was the starting point of my journey to have good thoughts.
You can be positive & motivated if you :-
1) Love yourself
If you have self love, if you value & love yourself, you won't let yourself suffer from negative thoughts. We all know, sometimes we overthink or become very negative for the situation that has not even happened yet. Why punish ourself with such thoughts when we have a choice of thinking great things.
Also, if there is any situation or a person that hurt you, it is completely on us on how we respond. Why would our smile or our happiness depend on any situation or a person?
When something like that happens to me , I choose myself on anyone else, I distance a little , give self time, pamper myself , go for a ride, listen to good music, walk on grass or read book or search for solution. I never stay in that moment for long where I feel the hurt/ am sad. Why would I ? I just know one thing, there is solution for every problem like there is a key for every lock.
This is how loving yourself can help you be motivated & stay positive all the time.
2) Stay around good vibes
It is said , one rotten apple can spoil a bunch of apples. Likewise, good vibes attract good things in life. Its really important for us to have good vibes around. Say having clean space where you stay with great colourful walls with good pictures, paintings or quotes all over. Surrounding yourself with people who have positive thoughts or great vibes or good thinking. People who always talk about problems or talk negative about things or keeps complaining , it just drains your mind. You might not realise in short term but in long term, you can't have good results in life when you are surrounded by such thoughts and talks all around. Watching good stuff on Tv or Internet rather than watching bad news or sad videos can also change your day drastically.
Such good things, friends or informations keep you going and motivated all the time.
3) Mind your choices
As mentioned earlier. We are the one who choose . Our choices & our decisions shape our life.
Choose positive over negative, good over bad, nice over evil. Choose to see good in every situation, in every person. Avoid the bad or choose to stay away from the bad or try to convert the bad into good.
everything is completely on us.
4) Do Affirmations & self talk
We all are away that we talk to ourselves mostly all the time. Just see to it that you talk nice.
Affirmations are words or sentences that are good for your brain. Anything you repeatedly tell yourself, becomes your reality.
Talk good about yourself to yourself. You can shape your personality with affirmations & self talk.
5) Make yourself
Work on yourself. Know that you are enough.
When you are confident & self reliant, no outside thing can break you. When you work on yourself, your brain , your body etc. You become a confident person & a confident person is generally very positive & motivated because he/she knows that he can do anything or everything .
6) Trust God/Universe/Your higher self
I don't know you personally so I don't know if you believe in god. We don't know whether god exist but there is some power above us that watches us . Someone who is there for us, believe it or not.
There is someone above you with whom you can share your emotions, or ask for a wish , or thank for good things, or complain about something that went wrong. Talking your heart out & than trusting that your prayers would be answered will 100% give you the result you want. (I can say this from personal experience)
Prayers are always answered , may be not on spot , but they are answered.
When you have faith in god/universe/angel , you tend to feel safe and secure in every circumstance that you face. That gives you hope to face all the challenges .
This hope helps you to be positive & be motivated for future.
